Our dentists will prescribe a sedative in pill form. Have your prescription filled before the day of your dental appointment. Take the pill as instructed. Under the effects of sedation, you cannot safely drive a vehicle, so arrange to have a friend or family member drive you to and from your appointment. At our office, you’ll be escorted to the treatment room, where you will be made comfortable. Our Dentists will perform your procedure(s) while their dental assistant manages your comfort.
Following treatment, you will need to be driven home by a friend of family member. Plan to remain home, resting, for the remainder of the day. Our Dentists will provide you and your driver with aftercare instructions appropriate for your procedure.
