Dr. Sundeep Chohan – General Dentist
Dr. Chohan earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at University of British Columbia in 2010, and beforehand, she graduated with honors, earning her Bachelor of Science degree at Simon Fraser University. Dr. Chohan strives to keep current with the evolving field of dentistry by participating in various continuing education courses and study clubs. She is fluent in Punjabi and can comprehend Hindi, as well.
As a general dentist, Dr. Chohan has studied and become proficient in restorative dentistry, root canal therapy, simple and surgical extractions, and children’s dentistry. She also performs fixed prosthetic dentistry and provides onsite denture repairs for her patients. As for cosmetic dentistry, she is specialized with Invisalign, Opalescence, porcelain veneers, and white restorations.
Dr. Sarah He – General Dentist
Dr. Sarah He was born in China and moved to Vancouver, B.C. when she was 12 years old. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of British Columbia, then continued attending UBC and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2013.
After working briefly in rural Alberta immediately after graduation, she returned to the Lower Mainland to serve the community that she grew up in. She strives to provide the best possible treatment for each of her patients, and to help them be as comfortable as possible.
Dr. He is very passionate about dentistry and makes great effort to continually improve her clinical skills and expand her dental knowledge through taking continuing education courses and attending study clubs.
Dr. Jinny Kim – General Dentist
Dr. Jinny Jiyeon Kim moved from South Korea to Vancouver, B.C. at the age of 11. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia and graduated with her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2013.
Dr. Kim is passionate about all aspects of dentistry and is committed to helping patients achieve lifelong oral health through comprehensive and advanced care. She believes in providing clear treatment options so patients can make informed decisions with confidence.
She has volunteered both locally and abroad, including a 2016 health mission to Peru, and has spent over a decade serving First Nations patients across B.C. and the Yukon through treatment and preventive programs.
Dr. Kim continues to advance her expertise through accredited continuing education and diverse clinical experiences, combining evidence based knowledge with modern technology to provide the highest quality care.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and dog. Her multicultural background and fluency in Korean allow her to connect with patients in a unique way. To Dr. Kim, being entrusted with a patient’s health is an honor and a privilege, and she treats every patient like family.
With extensive knowledge in dental care and clinical support, Nitika is dedicated to helping patients with everything from scheduling to treatment questions, always prioritizing their comfort and care. She is here to ensure that every patient has a smooth, positive experience from start to finish. Outside of the office, she enjoys working out , discovering new cafes and taking walks along the beach.
Tina has been a valued member of our dental team since 2015. She is a Certified Dental Assistant with an Orthodontic Module and brings extensive experience across many areas of dentistry. Dedicated to patient care, she works closely with the dentist to ensure each visit is comfortable, positive, and stress-free. She is always happy to answer questions and support patients throughout their treatment. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family
Ashpreet joined the Healthy Smiles Family Dentistry team as a Dental Hygienist in 2022. She is passionate about educating her patients on their oral health needs, and getting to know them on a personal level. In her spare time, she enjoys reading books, spending time with her dog, and traveling.
Megan has been with our office since 2019. She recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at UBC. She is interested in a health care career and passionate about human physiology and patient care. In her spare time, Megan loves being outdoors—whether kayaking, hiking, fishing, or camping.
Raiza has been with our Healthy Smiles team since 2020. She earned her dental hygiene diploma in Ottawa in 2014 and returned in 2019. As a hygienist, she values skill and compassion in delivering patient care. Outside work, she enjoys nature—especially the beach—and quality time with family and friends.
Madelyn is new to the healthy smiles dentistry team. She has completed her Certified Dental Assisting Program from Vancouver Community College in 2024. She is interested in pursuing a career in the dental field and passionate about patient care. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and spending time with her cats.
Dee is the friendly, reassuring face at reception. With many years of people-focused experience in the UK and Canada she brings her calm and caring personality to the practice. Outside of work, Dee loves spending time with her family. She enjoys leaning into her inner foodie by discovering new places to eat and loves to unwind through yoga, meditation and getting lost in a good book
